Welcome to Mystical Pisces Season

With the Sun bathing us in the gentle, mystical rays of Pisces, it's time to embrace our emotions, connect with our inner selves, and explore the deeper mysteries of life as the astrological year comes to a close.

Pisces

Pisces is a mutable water sign. Why is Pisces a water sign? Because it embodies the qualities and attributes associated with the element of water. Water is associated with emotions, intuition, sensitivity, and depth. Similarly, Pisces individuals are often described as empathetic, intuitive, and deeply emotional. They are known for their compassionate nature, artistic inclinations, and ability to connect with others on an emotional level.

The mutable modality in astrology embodies the qualities of adaptability, flexibility, and transition.

When we think about Pisces as mutable water, imagine the ocean and its constant ebb and flow with the tides and the vastness and depth of the ocean. Just as the ocean is constantly in motion, shifting and adapting to various currents and tides, Pisces embodies water's ever-changing, flexible, and flowing nature, reflecting the depths of emotion and intuition.

Evolutionary Journey of Pisces

The evolutionary intention of Pisces is about surrendering, letting go of attachments, and transcending your ego. It's about non-attachment and moving beyond the limitations of self to merge with something greater. It's about moving beyond the mundane concerns of everyday life and tapping into a higher, more expansive state of being.

Pisces Practices

Meditating, dancing, engaging in arts and creativity, volunteering, and pausing to listen to the universal heartbeat are all excellent ways to spend this time. Make space and time for contemplation, rest, and connecting to our emotions and letting the universal flow connect to our heart space. If you feel a creative spark lighting you up, create! Write a poem, dance in the moonlight, sing your heart out - use this time to tap into the stream of consciousness that is all and let it flow through your work and creativity.

This is the time of year when the boundaries between the self and the divine dissolve, leading to a sense of unity, interconnectedness, and transcendence.

Meditation serves as a tool to dissolve our sense of individual self and connect with higher states of consciousness. Through practices like meditation, we aim to transcend our egos and access deeper layers of awareness and understanding.

Music as Meditation

An example of connecting to the divine could be playing an instrument. When deeply engaged in playing an instrument, you enter a state of intense focus. This concentration is a form of meditation where you're fully present in the moment, immersed in the music, and disconnected from other thoughts or distractions. Music has a unique ability to evoke emotions and connect with our inner selves. Playing an instrument allows you to express a wide range of emotions, from joy and excitement to sadness and introspection. This emotional expression can facilitate a deeper understanding of oneself and others, which aligns with the Piscean theme of empathy and interconnectedness.

Musicians often describe experiences of "flow," where they feel completely absorbed in the music and lose track of time and self-awareness. This flow state can be considered a form of transcendence, where the boundaries between the self and the music blur, and you feel connected to something larger than yourself, similar to the concept of dissolving into higher states in Piscean spirituality.

How will you make space, slow down to receive, the be in the flow to channel Pisces energies?
